8. George³ Denny Sr. (Alexander², George¹) was born September 10, 1774. George died August 23, 1841 at 66 years of age. His body was interred 1841 in Paint Lick, Garrard Co., KY, Old Paint Lick Cemetery.

He married twice. He married Sallie Graham. Sallie was born March 12, 1776. Sallie died October 3, 1817 at 41 years of age. Her body was interred 1817 in Paint Lick, Garrard Co., KY, Old Paint Lick Cemetery. At 27 years of age Sallie became the mother of Elizabeth (Betsy) Denny January 31, 1804. He married Margaret Miller in Garrard Co., Ky, 1821. Margaret was born October 23, 1784. Margaret was the daughter of William Miller and Nancy Yancy. Margaret died August 23, 1871 at 86 years of age. Her body was interred August, 1871 in Paint Lick, Garrard Co., KY, Old Paint Lick Cemetery. At 18 years of age Margaret became the mother of Andrew Miller McLean (son of Wm.) April 22, 1803. At 21 years of age Margaret became the mother of Nancy Yancey McLean September 6, 1806. At 23 years of age Margaret became the mother of Ephraim Harvey McLean in Marshall Co., TN, January 19, 1808. At 26 years of age Margaret became the mother of William Miller McLean August 27, 1811. At 28 years of age Margaret became the mother of Samuel Wilson McLean August 1, 1813.

At 29 years of age George became the father of Elizabeth (Betsy) Denny January 31, 1804.

George Denny Sr. and Sallie Graham had the following children:

15 ii. Polly Beaty Denny.

16 iii. Anne Denny. She married William Adams. William was the son of Alexander Adams and Isabella Miller.

17 iv. Grizilla Dryden Denny.

18 v. Sarah Denny.

20 vii. James Graham Denny. He married Amelia Kavanaugh.

21 viii. Elizabeth (Betsy) Denny was born January 31, 1804. Elizabeth died October 23, 1839 at 35 years of age. Her body was interred October, 1839 in Verona, Marshall Co., TN, McLean Cemetery. She married Andrew Miller McLean (son of Wm.) circa 1826. Andrew was born April 22, 1803. Andrew was the son of William McLean and Margaret Miller. Andrew died August 12, 1885 at 82 years of age. His body was interred 1885 in Verona, Marshall Co., TN, McLean Cemetery (Lambert propert. Andrew became the father of Sally Ann McLean circa 1827. At 25 years of age Andrew became the father of William Harvey McLean 1828. At 36 years of age Andrew became the father of Martha Gayilla McLean in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN, July 8, 1839. At 76 years of age Andrew became the father of Elizabeth D. McLean 1879. (See Andrew Miller McLean (son of Wm.) for the continuation of this line.)

Elizabeth became the mother of Sally Ann McLean circa 1827. At 24 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of William Harvey McLean 1828. At 35 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Martha Gayilla McLean in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN, July 8, 1839. At 75 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Elizabeth D. McLean 1879.

George Denny Sr. and Margaret Miller had the following children:

22 ix. Margaret Denny. She married twice. She married ? Allen. She married Rice Woods. Margaret was a twin of George.

23 x. George Denny Jr.. He married Elizabeth Faulkner. George was a twin of Margaret.
