Neely died April 22, 1900 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, at 62 years of age. His body was interred After April 22, 1900 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, Willow Mount Cemetery.

He married Emma Jane Gilliland December 5, 1866. Emma was born in Lincoln Co., TN September 23, 1847. Emma was the daughter of Samuel Edmiston Gilliland and Violet Berry Logan. Emma died April 4, 1911 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, at 63 years of age. Her body was interred April 1911 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, Willow Mount Cemetery. At 20 years of age Emma became the mother of Benny Coble December 25, 1867. At 21 years of age Emma became the mother of Samuel Gilliland Coble M.D May 27, 1869. At 23 years of age Emma became the mother of Thomas Jacob Coble M.D. in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, January 7, 1871. At 28 years of age Emma became the mother of Jonathan Gilliland Coble in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, October 30, 1875. At 30 years of age Emma became the mother of George Williams Coble in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, July 3, 1878.

Neely's occupation: Physician in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN. At 30 years of age Neely became the father of Benny Coble December 25, 1867. At 31 years of age Neely became the father of Samuel Gilliland Coble M.D May 27, 1869. At 33 years of age Neely became the father of Thomas Jacob Coble M.D. in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, January 7, 1871. At 37 years of age Neely became the father of Jonathan Gilliland Coble in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, October 30, 1875. At 40 years of age Neely became the father of George Williams Coble in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, July 3, 1878. His son, Dr. Thomas Jacob Coble, referred too him as "the old gentleman" according to Dr. Coble's daughter, Emma Elizabeth Coble McLean, on November 27, 1996.

Neely B. Coble M.D. and Emma Jane Gilliland had the following children:

40 ii. Benny Coble was born December 25, 1867.

41 iii. Samuel Gilliland Coble M.D was born May 27, 1869. Samuel died February 24, 1921 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, at 51 years of age. His body was interred February 25, 1921 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, Willow Mount Cemetery. Samuel was unmarried, February 24, 1921.

+ 42 iv. Thomas Jacob Coble M.D. was born January 7, 1871.

43 v. Jonathan Gilliland Coble was born in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN October 30, 1875. Jonathan died February 17, 1889 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, at 13 years of age. His body was interred February 19, 1889 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, Willow Mount Cemetery.

+ 44 vi. George Williams Coble was born July 3, 1878.
