He married Sarah 'Sallie' White. Sarah was born in Warren Co., KY 1820. Sarah became the mother of Newton Chandler in Warren Co., KY. At 14 years of age Sarah became the mother of John F. Chandler in Warren Co., KY, 1834. At 15 years of age Sarah became the mother of Louisa Jane Chandler in Abbeville Co., SC, November 16, 1835. At 18 years of age Sarah became the mother of Sarah E. Chandler in Warren Co., KY, 1838. At 20 years of age Sarah became the mother of William N. Chandler in Warren Co., KY, 1840. At 26 years of age Sarah became the mother of Susan Chandler 1846.

John became the father of Newton Chandler in Warren Co., KY. At 34 years of age John became the father of John F. Chandler in Warren Co., KY, 1834. At 35 years of age John became the father of Louisa Jane Chandler in Abbeville Co., SC, November 16, 1835. At 38 years of age John became the father of Sarah E. Chandler in Warren Co., KY, 1838. At 40 years of age John became the father of William N. Chandler in Warren Co., KY, 1840. At 46 years of age John became the father of Susan Chandler 1846.

John Chandler and Sarah 'Sallie' White had the following children:

4 iii. Louisa Jane Chandler was born in Abbeville Co., SC November 16, 1835. Louisa died December 31, 1908 in near Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, at 73 years of age. Her body was interred January, 1909 in Bedford Co., TN, Center Church Cemetery. She married twice. She married Joshua Holt IV in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, May 6, 1852. Joshua was born in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN June 10, 1830. Joshua was the son of Herrod Freeman Holt and Mary Anne Eliza Greer. Joshua died April 23, 1865 in Camden, Wilcox Co., AL, at 34 years of age. His body was interred after April 23, 1865 in Camden, Wilcox Co., AL, Camden Cemetery. At 23 years of age Joshua became the father of Emma Anne Alcyone Holt in near Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, August 28, 1853. At 24 years of age Joshua became the father of John Herrod Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, May 3, 1855. At 26 years of age Joshua became the father of Mary Ellen Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, February 14, 1857. At 29 years of age Joshua became the father of James B. Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, August 6, 1859. At 30 years of age Joshua became the father of Florribal Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, September 12, 1860. (See Joshua Holt IV for the continuation of this line.) She married Isaac B. Holt April 30, 1871. Isaac was born October 10, 1817. Isaac died May 20, 1887 at 69 years of age. His body was interred after May 20, 1887 in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, Center Church Cemetery. At 54 years of age Isaac became the father of Clemmie Louisa Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, February 19, 1872. At 56 years of age Isaac became the father of Sallie Inda Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, September 28, 1874. At 58 years of age Isaac became the father of Artie Warden Holt September 16, 1876. At 17 years of age Louisa became the mother of Emma Anne Alcyone Holt in near Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, August 28, 1853. At 19 years of age Louisa became the mother of John Herrod Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, May 3, 1855. At 21 years of age Louisa became the mother of Mary Ellen Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, February 14, 1857. At 23 years of age Louisa became the mother of James B. Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, August 6, 1859. At 24 years of age Louisa became the mother of Florribal Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, September 12, 1860. At 36 years of age Louisa became the mother of Clemmie Louisa Holt in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, February 19, 1872. 6 v. William N. Chandler was born in Warren Co., KY 1840. He married Emily Morris in Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN, September 21, 1867.

7 vi. Susan Chandler was born 1846. She married E. H. Crowell.
