109. David Vance⁵ Davidson (Hugh⁴, Maj. William³, John (1)², (?)¹) was born in Weaverville, Buncombe Co., NC November 29, 1803. David died November 3, 1869 at 65 years of age.

He married Sarah Caroline Hall January 22, 1829. Sarah was born Iredell Co., NC June 15, 1805. Sarah died August 28, 1888 at 83 years of age. At 24 years of age Sarah became the mother of Leander Wilson Davidson November 25, 1829. At 25 years of age Sarah became the mother of Abner Alexander Davidson February 16, 1831. At 25 years of age Sarah became the mother of Eliza P. Davidson April 7, 1831. At 28 years of age Sarah became the mother of William Milas Davidson July 16, 1833. At 29 years of age Sarah became the mother of Margaret Angelina Davidson October 3, 1834. At 30 years of age Sarah became the mother of George Newton Davidson January 11, 1836.

At 25 years of age David became the father of Leander Wilson Davidson November 25, 1829. At 27 years of age David became the father of Abner Alexander Davidson February 16, 1831. At 27 years of age David became the father of Eliza P. Davidson April 7, 1831. At 29 years of age David became the father of William Milas Davidson July 16, 1833. At 30 years of age David became the father of Margaret Angelina Davidson October 3, 1834. At 32 years of age David became the father of George Newton Davidson January 11, 1836.

David Vance Davidson and Sarah Caroline Hall had the following children:

+ 138 i. Leander Wilson⁶ Davidson was born November 25, 1829.

+ 139 ii. Abner Alexander Davidson was born February 16, 1831.

140 iii. Eliza P. Davidson was born April 7, 1831. Eliza died August 20, 1884 in Lynchburg, Moore Co., TN, at 53 years of age. She married James Ogborne Norton M.D. January 6, 1854. James died March 4, 1862 Camp Chase, OH.

+ 141 iv. William Milas Davidson was born July 16, 1833.

142 v. Margaret Angelina Davidson was born October 3, 1834. Margaret died September 25, 1852 at 17 years of age.

+ 143 vi. George Newton Davidson was born January 11, 1836.
