He married Susie Wilson New Decatur, AL, May 2, 1900. Susie became the mother of Christine Vance Davidson October 11, 1901. Susie became the mother of Thomas Lawson Davidson July 23, 1906.

At 26 years of age Hugh became the father of Christine Vance Davidson October 11, 1901. At 30 years of age Hugh became the father of Thomas Lawson Davidson July 23, 1906.

Hugh Lawson Davidson and Susie Wilson had the following children:
