1. Robert¹ Brank Sr. was born in VA 1724. Robert died about 1790.

He married Jean McLean 1744. Jean was born 1726. At 18 years of age Jean became the mother of Peter Brank PA, 1744. At 28 years of age Jean became the mother of Elizabeth Brank in Bladen Co., NC, 1754.

At 20 years of age Robert became the father of Peter Brank PA, 1744. At 28 years of age Robert became the father of Harriet Brank in Mecklenburg Co., VA, 1752. At 30 years of age Robert became the father of Elizabeth Brank in Bladen Co., NC, 1754. At 32 years of age Robert became the father of Priscilla Brank in Rowan Co., NC, 1756. At 32 years of age Robert became the father of Robert Brank Jr. Rowan Co., NC, March 17, 1757. At 35 years of age Robert became the father of Jane Brank in Orange Co., NC, 1759.

Robert Brank Sr. and Jean McLean had the following children:

2 i. Peter² Brank was born PA 1744. Peter died October 7, 1781 in King's Mountain, NC, at 37 years of age. He married Ruby Rebecca Alexander in Morganton, NC, 1757. Ruby was born PA 1739. Ruby died July 28, 1825 in Henderson Co., NC, at 86 years of age.

Peter served in the military.

3 ii. Elizabeth Brank was born in Bladen Co., NC 1754. Elizabeth died January 26, 1841 in Burke Co., NC, at 86 years of age. She married Robert Penland Sr. in Morgan, Rowan Co., NC, 1770. Robert was born in Mecklenburg Co., VA 1750. Robert died April 16, 1828 in Morgan, Rowan Co., NC, at 77 years of age. His body was interred April 20, 1828 in Morgan, Rowan Co., NC, Quaker Meadows Cemetery. i0 He fought in the battles of; Kings Mountain, Ramseur's Mill,Musgrove Mill, and Cowpens.

Robert Brank Sr. had the following children:

4 iii. Harriet Brank was born in Mecklenburg Co., VA 1752. She married (?) Miller.

5 iv. Priscilla Brank was born in Rowan Co., NC 1756. Priscilla died 1836 in Weaverville, Buncombe Co., NC, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred 1836 in Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC, Riverside Cemetery. She married Col. David Vance in Rowan Co., NC, September 21, 1775. David was born in near Winchester, VA circa 1745. David was the son of Samuel Vance and Sarah Colville. David died 1813 at 68 years of age. At 32 years of age David became the father of Jean Vance November 30, 1777. At 34 years of age David became the father of Sarah 'Sally' Vance in Burke Co. NC, June 23, 1780. At 37 years of age David became the father of Samuel Vance in Morganton, Burke Co., NC, April 18, 1783. At 41 years of age David became the father of Elizabeth Vance in Weaverville, Buncombe Co., NC, March 23, 1787. At 48 years of age David became the father of Robert Brank Vance M.D. 1793. (See Col. At 21 years of age Priscilla became the mother of Jean Vance November 30, 1777. At 23 years of age Priscilla became the mother of Sarah 'Sally' Vance in Burke Co. NC, June 23, 1780. At 26 years of age Priscilla became the mother of Samuel Vance in Morganton, Burke Co., NC, April 18, 1783. At 30 years of age Priscilla became the mother of Elizabeth Vance in Weaverville, Buncombe Co., NC, March 23, 1787. At 37 years of age Priscilla became the mother of Robert Brank Vance M.D. 1793.

+ 6 v. Robert Brank Jr. was born March 17, 1757.

7 vi. Jane Brank was born in Orange Co., NC 1759. She married Robert Henry. Robert was born 1741.
