He married Isabella Miller 1807. Isabella was born in Paint Lick, Garrard Co., KY 1781. Isabella was the daughter of William Miller and Nancy Yancy. Isabella died 1841 at 60 years of age.

Alexander Adams and Isabella Miller had the following children:

3 ii. William Adams. He married Anne Denny. Anne was the daughter of George Denny Sr. and Sallie Graham.
