1. David¹ Cloyd was born in Augusta, VA June 27, 1773.

He married Sarah Marshall. Sarah was born in Bach Creek, Albemarle Co., VA May 23, 1771. Sarah was the daughter of Gilbert Marshall Jr. and Martha Rowan. Sarah died January 18, 1840 in White's Creek, Davidson Co., TN, at 68 years of age. At 32 years of age Sarah became the mother of Margaret Cloyd in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN, February, 1804.

At 30 years of age David became the father of Margaret Cloyd in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN, February, 1804.

David Cloyd and Sarah Marshall had the following child:

2 i. Margaret² Cloyd was born in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN February, 1804. Margaret died March 6, 1843 at 39 years of age. She married Wiley Jones. Wiley was born in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN 1799. Wiley died 1839 at 40 years of age. At 31 years of age Wiley became the father of Daniel Webster Jones in Fayett, Howard, MO, August 26, 1830. At 26 years of age Margaret became the mother of Daniel Webster Jones in Fayett, Howard, MO, August 26, 1830.
