He married Sarah Foster. Sarah was born September 21, 1839. Sarah was the daughter of Gynne Foster and Sally Reeves. Sarah died July 29, 1906 at 66 years of age. At 29 years of age Sarah became the mother of Ada Florence Dickens August 3, 1869.

At 32 years of age Jasper became the father of Ada Florence Dickens August 3, 1869.

Jasper N. Dickens and Sarah Foster had the following children:

7 iv. Ada Florence Dickens was born August 3, 1869. Ada died March 13, 1935 at 65 years of age. Her body was interred after March 13, 1935 Wheeler Cemetery. She married three times. She married Charles Lee Marshall. Charles was born December 10, 1862. Charles was the son of Robert Armstrong Marshall and America White. Charles died January 24, 1896 in Marshall Co., TN, at 33 years of age. His body was interred after January 24, 1896 in Marshall Co., TN, White Cemetery. Charles became the father of Bonnie Ethel Marshall September 1. At 27 years of age Charles became the father of Oscar Lee Marshall April 17, 1890. At 30 years of age Charles became the father of Mary Ruth Marshall December 25, 1892. At 32 years of age Charles became the father of Robert Ulys Marshall November 8, 1895. Ada became the mother of Bonnie Ethel Marshall September 1. At 20 years of age Ada became the mother of Oscar Lee Marshall April 17, 1890. At 23 years of age Ada became the mother of Mary Ruth Marshall December 25, 1892. At 26 years of age Ada became the mother of Robert Ulys Marshall November 8, 1895. At 30 years of age Ada became the mother of Paul Lish 1900. At 33 years of age Ada became the mother of Dorothy Ellen Lish July 16, 1903. At 39 years of age Ada became the mother of Annie Lou Lish August 5, 1908.
