At 26 years of age John became the father of Col. William Edmiston in Cecil Co., MD, April 27, 1736.

John Turk Edmiston and Margaret ? had the following children:

6 i. Samuel³ Edmiston. Samuel died in Battle of Kings Mountain. He married an unknown person.

7 ii. Andrew Edmiston.

8 iii. Robert Edmiston Sr..

+ 9 iv. Col. William Edmiston was born April 27, 1736.
