He married Catherine Coble. Catherine was the daughter of John Jacob Coble and Catherine Glass. Catherine became the mother of Philip J. Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, May 15, 1784. Catherine became the mother of Jacob Coble Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, 1791. Catherine became the mother of Reuben Burrow D.D. in Guilford Co., NC, June 26, 1798. Catherine became the mother of David Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, about 1801. Catherine became the mother of Myzely Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, June 5, 1804.

At 20 years of age Ishmael became the father of Philip J. Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, May 15, 1784. At 28 years of age Ishmael became the father of Jacob Coble Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, 1791. At 34 years of age Ishmael became the father of Reuben Burrow D.D. in Guilford Co., NC, June 26, 1798. Ishmael became the father of David Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, about 1801. At 40 years of age Ishmael became the father of Myzely Burrow in Guilford Co., NC, June 5, 1804.

Ishmael Burrow and Catherine Coble had the following children:

11 i. Philip J.³ Burrow was born in Guilford Co., NC May 15, 1784. Philip died October 5, 1870 in Wilson Co., TX, at 86 years of age. He married twice. He married ? about 1819. He married Martha E. Moore in Navarro, TX, February 2, 1853.

12 ii. Jacob Coble Burrow was born in Guilford Co., NC 1791. Jacob died in Navarro, TX. He married Jane ?.

+ 13 iii. Reuben Burrow D.D. was born June 26, 1798.

14 iv. David Burrow was born in Guilford Co., NC about 1801. David died after 1860 in Nacogodoches TX. He married Elizabeth ? in Carroll, TN, about 1827.

15 v. Myzely Burrow was born in Guilford Co., NC June 5, 1804.
